Operation Xcel x UNC-Chapel Hill Public Relations Writing Course

During my Public Relations Writing Course at the UNC Hussman School, my team of five students partnered with nonprofit client Operation Xcel to develop a digital PR portfolio. After our initial client kick-off meeting, we identified that the organization’s ultimate business goal was to diversify funding and bring in more consistent donations. Therefore, we focused our strategy on enhancing brand awareness and expanding targeted messaging, informed by audience insights. Our portfolio contains a press release, fact sheet, direct mail, media list updates, and an integrated public relations plan.
